Info for Subscribers to the cu-tango mailing list (cu-tango@yahoogroups.com)

If you are using a University of Illinois email account to subscribe to the cu-tango mailing list, continue reading. The change from uiuc.edu to illinois.edu might affect you.

Dear list subscribers,

This message is for people who are subscribed to cu-tango via their uiuc.edu email accounts.

If you are using another email service with cu-tango, you can disregard this message.

As you know, the University of Illinois is changing uiuc.edu to illinois.edu.

This change will affect your subscription to cu-tango and cu-tango-discuss if you want to post messages.

Emails SENT TO your old uiuc.edu address will continue to be delivered for probably a very long time. So I don't think you need to change anything if you are just receiving cu-tango messages and never posting anything.

But if you try to POST FROM your new illinois.edu address, the list will not recognize you as a member and will reject your message. (Posting is set to "members only".)

Therefore, if you want to post a message on these lists, you have two choices:

1. Log onto the list's web site and post your message via the web interface.

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cu-tango/ (or cu-tango-discuss)

Then click "Post" in the left sidebar

(or)

2. Edit your account info on cu-tango to add your illinois.edu address.

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cu-tango/

Then click "Edit Membership" in the line after your membership identifier.
