Bs As Milongas
A milonga night at Club Sunderland.
The newspaper Clarin just published a nice Collection of Photos shot by photographer Roberto Ruiz at Sunderland, La Ideal, La Viruta, Gricel, and Lo de Celia. Includes photo coverage of the world tango championships August 04.
I also like this other online photo collection of Buenos Aires milongas from a few years back by the Netherlands photographer and tango dancer "Torito" (Rob Nuitjen).

Shall We Dance

It's in town! (Champaign-Urbana) The American version of "Shall We Dance," with Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci. Everyone who has seen it tells me it's good. (They say "no, really, you would like it.") Until ??, 2004 at Savoy and Beverly theaters. (Still showing as of Nov 21.) |
